TITLE: Quality Control Technician
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Conduct thorough inspections of finished products and properly maintain lab equipment in the safest and most efficient manner possible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Legal eligibility to work in the US
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
- Basic math skills and some mechanical abilities
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary such as overtime and weekends.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
- Adhere to safety precautions and regulations, promptly reporting hazards, and participate in safety meetings.
- Conduct quality inspections of work in process and finished products, documenting any rejected items or raw material issues.
- Reviews and maintains Certificates of Analysis (COA’s) for incoming raw materials, authorizing their release for production.
- Document appropriate information for quality inspection reports and create and maintain current files for all quality related correspondence.
- Assists in addressing customer complaints regarding rejects or non-confirming products and promptly notifies management of any unusual discrepancies or issues.
- Propose new testing or inspection methods to streamline efforts.
- Provide training to production colleagues on quality control concepts and inspection techniques as needed.
- Create databases and analyze quality data to identify trends or changes.
