TITLE: Janitor C
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Work in a safe and efficient manner so as to be a productive, while maintaining high quality of work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Available to work overtime.
• Must have good attitude and is self-motivated
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safety - complies with all written and verbal safety rules of the plant and department including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform all assigned job duties.
• Work off of a step ladder.
• Must have a good past working habits and attendance record.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area during task.
• Clean up after work is done.
• Clean / scrub down any partitions.
• Sweep and mops floors.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Scrub sinks.
• Scrub Toilets and urinals.
• Clean tables and counter tops.
• Dust furniture.
• Empty trash and clean trash cans.
• Clean / wipe off tables and empty / clean trash can for outside break areas.
• Clean off the top of lockers and the cabinets.
• Sweep and dust the stairs and landing in the plant for the second-floor offices and meeting rooms.
• Dump cigarette receptacles into dumpster.
• Clean out refrigerators when required clearing out leftover material and wiping down inside and outside.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Stooping/Bending
• Kneeling
• Standing for long periods of time
