TITLE: Forklift Driver B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To assist in loading trucks to various customers around the country.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum 3 years’ previous maintenance experience
- Have been a C loader for 6 months or longer depending on Senior Loader and Shipping Supervisor evaluations.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
- Move and align the posted pallets to certain areas, which did not go through the CMA system.
- Load and align the pallets from the “Pick-Up List” to loading area.
- Load and ship pallets according to the B/L and “Pick-Up List”.
- Deliver products according to “Inventory Issue Ticket”.
- Clean individual area assigned.
- Inspect and maintain forklifts before working every day.
- Clean storage area, loading area, and forklift park area.
- Process cases form higher level management.
- Move pallets from production table to warehouse location.
- Check load sheets given to evening shifts.
- Make sure that all pallets are loaded for each load.
- Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
- Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
- Manufacturing Environment
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
- Loud noise
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and repetitive action of lifting and bending
- Able to stand up for up to 12 hrs and work 12 hrs rotating schedule
- Must wear steel toe shoes and appropriate PPE on production floor all times
- No shorts, jewelry and loose hanging clothe allowed
