POSITION SUMMARY
The Licensed Child Care Administrator is responsible for the operation of the facility and ensuring quality care, services and advocacy for our youth. This position is responsible for the communication of the agency’s mission, values, and service delivery practices. The Licensed Child Care Administrator ensures the maintenance of youth records and compliance with all applicable state and local laws, standards, and regulations. This position supervises and has daily on-site administrative responsibilities for the overall operation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensures the delivery of services in accordance with the VQ’s mission and vision, goals, objectives and treatment philosophy.
The Licensed Child Care Administrator is responsible for the operation of the facility and ensuring quality care, services and advocacy for our children.
Implements programs and services as specified in the children’s individualized service plan.
Completes accurately, all reports, data collection and other information documenting the care and services provided in keeping with licensing regulations and Agency policies.
Daily supervision and on-site administrative responsibility for the overall operation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Licensed through the state of Texas as a Licensed Child Care Administrator.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of full-time child care or related work experience.
Master's or Doctoral Degree Preferred.
2 years child care exp in a Residential Treatment Facility.
2 years of experience working with difficult adolescents.
1 year of experience managing case documentations.
1 year experience supervising and training staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Flexible schedule (evening, weekends, holidays) to facilitate program services.
Cleared tuberculosis test results.
Cleared background checks from appropriate entities.
Obtain and maintain First Aid Certification (CPR) and Level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
May lift and carry up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds infrequently.
Performs tasks that may involve standing or walking 50% of the day; sitting 50%of the day.
May bend, stoop, reach and grasp as necessary.
