POSITION OBJECTIVE: Paper packaging manufacturer in Coppell is seeking Packers to pack printed paper bags and sheets from the machines into cardboard cartons according to job specifications.

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Paper packaging manufacturer in Coppell is seeking Packers to pack printed paper bags and sheets from the machines into cardboard cartons according to job specifications.
- First shift hours: 6am to 2:30pm. And very soon 2nd shift hours 2pm to 10:30pm. Monday – Friday and occasional Saturdays.
- Basic math adding and subtracting required.
- Basic reading and writing skills required.
- Some lifting required up to 25 pounds on occasion.
- Fast paced environment must be able to keep up with machines.
- Must be able to stand for entire shift.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
- Read the job pockets for cartons and labeling.
- Pack bags into cartons per the job instructions.
- Inspect the bags while packing for defects.
- Keep up with the machine speeds.
- Keep accurate counts of bags per carton.
- Seal full cartons using tape gun and place on skid.
- Keep the work area clean.
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Fast-paced production floor with exposure to noise.
- Must complete ongoing training as required.
- Must be able to stand for shift work.
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds.
