Your Role

As a Back-End Engineer, you’ll design and develop scalable, back-end data services using SaaS-based technology. You'll work on the modernization of an accounting system that is crucial in shaping the global financial landscape. Your role will involve collaboration with product owners, quality engineers, and cross-functional teams to solve design and architectural challenges, all while leveraging open-source technology to meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop back-end data services that are scalable and robust.
• Utilize SaaS-based technology to drive business solutions.
• Work within an Agile framework to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Collaborate with product owners, quality engineers, and cross-functional teams to tackle complex design and architectural challenges.
• Leverage existing open-source technologies to meet evolving business demands.
• Contribute to the modernization of a pivotal accounting system for the financial sector.
  
  

What You Bring

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Proven commercial experience with Java .
• Strong knowledge of Spring , Spring Boot , Lombok , JUnit , and Swagger .
• Experience with web technologies and architecture , including:
• Microservices and distributed cloud services (preferably Azure ).
• Distributed data systems like Kafka and Spark .
• Rest/GraphQL APIs .
• Proficiency in working with relational and in-memory databases such as Oracle and Redis .
• Fluent in spoken and written English .
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of the investment industry .
• Familiarity with the Angular framework (Angular 17).
• Proficiency in an additional programming language (Python, C , Groovy).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake .
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins , Harness , Ansible , and Docker .
