The ideal candidate will work closely with internal technology and business teams to validate, document, and enhance CMDB data while also assisting with Change and Release Management functions.

We are seeking a CMDB Analyst & Change Manager/Coordinator to support the ongoing management, maintenance, and optimization of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role will be key in ensuring data accuracy, streamlining change and release management processes, and improving overall system integrity. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal technology and business teams to validate, document, and enhance CMDB data while also assisting with Change and Release Management functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day CMDB operations, including onboarding new Configuration Items (CIs) and ensuring data accuracy.
- Support change and release management processes in coordination with IT and business teams.
- Work closely with internal teams to vet and process new application requests and infrastructure changes.
- Utilize ServiceNow as the primary CMDB management tool, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and discrepancies within the CMDB.
- Lead data cleansing efforts, working with relevant teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
- Support restructuring initiatives within the CMDB to improve organization and usability.
- Generate and deliver CMDB reports as required.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation of CMDB processes, contributing to best practices.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, problem-solving and proactively pushing for answers.
- Utilize SharePoint, Word, and Excel for documentation and reporting.
- Experience with CMDB management, ideally with ServiceNow.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- ITIL familiarity (Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management).
- Background in Computer Science, IT, or related field with experience in applications and infrastructure components.
