We are seeking a Commodity Manager to support the deployment of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. This role focuses on managing energization projects, ensuring milestones are met, and working with utility companies to bring power to sites efficiently.

We are seeking a Commodity Manager to support the deployment of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. This role focuses on managing energization projects, ensuring milestones are met, and working with utility companies to bring power to sites efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the energy manager to track timing and capacity requirements for assigned utilities
- Work with engineering teams to communicate load forecasts and ensure utility engagement
- Manage design approvals, metering specifications, and utility contracts
- Track offsite and onsite utility construction milestones and escalate issues as needed
- Own and optimize process improvements to increase project scalability
- Utilize Smartsheets, Excel, and project tracking tools for data management
- Build and maintain stakeholder and utility relationships
- 5 years of project management experience
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Strong communication and organizational skills for handling multiple projects
- Knowledge of electrical, utility, or infrastructure projects (can be taught)
- Experience with EV charging, construction, or electrical engineering projects
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
