IntePros is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our premier client in Summit, NJ. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for supporting our client’s Operations team by providing advanced analytical support that transforms raw data into actionable information, ultimately driving business and strategy decisions. This role is also composed of tactical responsibilities that drive increases in inventory accuracy and 3PL performance. The position requires strong collaboration with various cross-functional groups including Quality, Marketing, Finance, and Project Management on various long-term initiatives and day-to-day tasks. This person must be local to the Summit, NJ location.

- Organization and Strategy
- Participate in Supply Chain initiatives defined in the client roadmap
- Support the end-to-end Supply Chain strategy and analyze opportunities to integrate with the broader organization
- Base Business Support:
- Manage Domestic/International fulfillment processes and warehouse, providing support for commercial initiatives to drive sales as well as any customer service issues requiring root cause analysis and/or warehouse support
- Manage shipping of Domestic/International orders in ERP system.
- Interact with buyers/finance to create and/or manage purchase order supporting open invoices.
- Manage the inventory portfolio via inventory reconciliations between WMS(s) and ERP system and transfers between warehouses based on projected demand and business needs.
- Analyze inventory on hand and develop monthly inventory projection model to be shared cross-functionally and with larger organization
- Achieve SLOB reduction targets by hosting cross-functional, tactical meetings to review aged/obsolete inventory and align on disposition strategy
- Coordinate quarterly destruction of expired, damaged, and/or quality dispositioned inventory, with strict attention to compliance standards
- Analyze monthly 3PL invoices for accuracy of logistics charges, and estimate logistics spend for quarter end accruals processes.
- Provide advanced analytical support to projects relating to 3PL activities, including analysis of capacity, process capabilities, and risk
- Provide the Project Management Organization as an SME for logistics-related activities
Education:
- BS/BA required
- A focused degree in Engineering or Supply Chain is preferred
- Advanced user of Excel
- Proficient in the use of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio
- Experience with ERP systems preferred, Epicor a plust
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and matrixed organizations
