Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex datasets using advanced analytical techniques to derive meaningful insights.
- Analyze customer data (both qualitative and quantitative) to uncover trends and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Perform ad-hoc and in-depth analyses to support business decision-making.
- Reporting & Visualization:
- Design, build, and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to empower clients to unlock the full potential of the platform.
- Develop and maintain a repository of standardized and customized reporting templates to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with various departments (marketing, sales, product, operations) to understand business needs and align data projects with organizational goals.
- Work with internal technical teams to address data gaps, improve data quality, and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics:
- Design, develop, optimize, and deploy machine learning algorithms, models, and applications.
- Implement forecasting techniques to predict project timelines, focusing on reducing construction duration.
- Utilize predictive analytics to support proactive decision-making and strategy development.
- Technical Expertise:
- Extract insights using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Develop solutions utilizing data lakes and cloud platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a data analytics role with a focus on solving complex business problems.
- Proven track record in data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualization.
- Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, or forecasting methods is highly preferred.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics), or equivalent relevant experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel (including macros, pivot tables, and advanced formulas).
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of data lakes, cloud platforms, and Agile methodologies.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a proven ability to independently manage data analysis projects.
- Preferred:
- Experience in the home construction industry.
- This role requires on-site presence in Scottsdale, AZ three days a week (Tuesday – Thursday), with remote flexibility for the remainder of the week.
