Key Responsibilities
- JMP Live Installation & Configuration:
- Install and configure JMP Live components in an AWS cloud environment, following the prescribed order:
- Install JMP Pro.
- Install the JMP Live Database using PostgreSQL.
- Install Keycloak for authentication management.
- Configure SSL certificates, database connections, and user authentication mechanisms.
- Manage Keycloak for authentication and ensure seamless integration with identity providers.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience installing and configuring JMP Live and related components, including JMP Pro, PostgreSQL, and Keycloak.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, including virtual server setup and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in JMP scripting language (JSL) for automation and custom solutions.
- Ability to manage SSL certificates and other security protocols.
- Database Management:
- Experience with PostgreSQL installation and maintenance, including schema creation, database user roles, and connection pooling.
- Understanding of backup, restore, and upgrade procedures for PostgreSQL.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- SAS JMP Statistical Discovery Certification or equivalent.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and training abilities to support users of varying technical expertise.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Biotechnology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in Biotechnology:
- Familiarity with biotech research workflows and data visualization needs is preferred.
- Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension based on project needs.
- Work Environment: Onsite - Lexington.
