Network Operations Specialist

We are seeking a Network Operations Specialist to provide daily support, monitoring, and maintenance for network systems, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and VoIP. This role is crucial in ensuring stable, reliable, and high-performing network services across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with network configurations, and a proactive approach to network management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily operations support and maintenance for network systems, including wireless and VoIP.
• Proactively monitor network performance to ensure stable and reliable connectivity.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize LAN, WAN, wireless, and VoIP networks.
• Collaborate with network facility teams and hardware/software vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
• Utilize network management applications to identify faults, optimize performance, and maintain data/telecommunications access.
• Support the movement of information across network locations while maintaining security and efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5 years of IT experience in network infrastructure and operations.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and vendor management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve technical issues efficiently.
