What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and fine-tune Oracle databases to ensure data integrity, security, and performance
- Lead database migrations and software upgrade planning/execution
- Collaborate on database design and enforce data governance across platforms
- Manage user access, permissions, and roles for secure data operations
- Schedule and monitor data transfer jobs and optimize operational efficiency
- Conduct performance monitoring and proactive tuning
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues swiftly and effectively
- Maintain thorough documentation of configurations and processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5 years of experience working with Oracle database systems
- Deep understanding of Oracle performance tuning and backup/recovery strategies
- Strong command of SQL and PL/SQL programming
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- Collaborative spirit with a mindset for continual improvement
- Experience working with ServiceNow platforms or datasets
- Exposure to enterprise-scale environments with performance-critical systems
