Product Launch Engineer/Process Engineer

Position: Product Launch Engineer (Pallet Automated Storage and Retrieval System)

Location: Virginia Beach, VA, USA

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Product Launch Engineer to join our team supporting the deployment of cutting-edge warehouse automation technology, specifically the Warehouse Pallett Automated Storage and Retrieval System. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the latest innovations, working on-site as an integral part of the Product Launch team within the Customer Experience organization.

Ideal Candidate: The team is seeking candidates with experience in either project engineering, process engineering or hands-on engineering that is customer facing.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an on-site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the pallet automated moving solution, ensuring seamless technology integration.
• Coordinate and execute test cases and test plans, including inventory validation, test execution, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify and solve process flow challenges in real time.
• Conduct user experience testing and support operational surveys.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, earning trust through effective communication and reliability.
• Balance collaborative tasks with autonomous problem-solving while receiving clear task direction from leadership.
  
  

Skills And Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical field, OR equivalent hands-on experience in project/process engineering.
• Background in automation, manufacturing, or operations with customer-facing experience.
• Proven ability to apply leadership principles, including:
• Bias for Action: Identifying needs and solving them proactively.
• Earn Trust: Building credibility with stakeholders and operational teams.
• Deliver Results: Achieving measurable outcomes aligned with project goals.
• Experience in testing coordination, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.

• Hours: Typical schedule is 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8 hours/day).
