Production Manager - Additive Manufacturing

IntePros is looking for a Production Manager to join our client in Washington and oversee all aspects of high-volume additive manufacturing production operations. This role involves leading a team of skilled technicians, operators, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective production execution. The Production Manager will manage workflow, optimize throughput, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will be a key member of the operations team, collaborating cross-functionally to align operations with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a team of production personnel, including technicians, operators, and support staff.
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to maximize throughput and meet customer demands.
• Drive continuous operational excellence across all manufacturing processes and workflows to achieve key performance metrics.
• Ensure strict adherence to 5S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment.
• Oversee all aspects of workplace safety, including training, hazard identification, and incident response.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
• Maintain strict quality control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage budgets, labor, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on production performance and key metrics.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a production or operations management role, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Leadership Principle: Strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making capability.
