In This Role, You Will
- Lead with Analysis: Understand the “why” behind business requests before jumping into design and development.
- Own Your Work: Take initiative and see projects through—from initial analysis to final testing—collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Architect with Purpose: Contribute to and evolve our architecture, technology standards, and best practices across applications, middleware, and databases.
- Design & Deliver Solutions: Work alongside architects to design, prototype, and deploy software solutions that are modern, scalable, and efficient.
- Be a Team Player: Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and debug issues, and actively contribute to overall project success.
- Research & Innovate: Explore new tools, tech, and frameworks to push our analytics and development capabilities forward.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 7–9 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Core Technologies:
- Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs
- NoSQL and Oracle (or other relational databases)
- Angular, React, or modern JavaScript frameworks
- Development Know-How: Agile methodology, SDLC tools (Maven, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Preferred Skills:
- Messaging systems like MQ/Kafka
- Microservices architecture , scalable and resilient systems
- Workflow solutions
- Background in the securities or financial services industry is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills — ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams
- Ownership mindset with a problem-solving attitude
- Curiosity and initiative to explore and propose new technologies
