INTRODUCTION AND POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Chief Facilities Manager is located at the IADC Operations Department and receives guidance, direction, and tasking directly from the Chief of Operations. The Chief Facilities Manager is responsible for coordinating support for activities in Kennedy Hall and managing the maintenance and upkeep of all College facilities. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the smooth functioning of all College facilities and to support various events and activities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and coordinate all requests and requirements for Kennedy Hall (Building 60), including setup, teardown, and cleanup for scheduled events.
· Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all IADC facilities.
· Work with the Department of Public Works (DPW) on the status of all IADC facilities trouble tickets.
· Prioritize building upkeep requirements in collaboration with IADC leadership.
· Manage the Master Calendar’s Kennedy Hall requests for approval by the Director or delegated representative.
· Coordinate the execution of cleaning contracts and ensure all College spaces are clean before and after events.
· Ensure all IADC spaces are properly furnished to support College activities.
· Conduct inspections and manage recovery efforts during inclement weather.
· Coordinate semi-annual exterior facilities cleanup and annual spring cleaning.
· Provide additional support to the Director, Chief of Staff, and Chief of Operations as required.

The Chief Facilities Manager performs a full range of facilities management functions, which are integral to the smooth operation of all events at the IADC. The workload of the position fluctuates due to unexpected events and emergencies, requiring flexibility and the ability to adjust work schedules to complete tasks.
GUIDANCE AND SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Guidance and direction are received for the performance of the duties of this position. The incumbent performs as part of a team led by the Chief of Operations. Products and services are reviewed for quality and accuracy.

CONTACTS AND PURPOSE OF CONTACTSINTERNAL
Contacts with all IADC Departments and Offices to coordinate support required for the successful execution of IADC events and activities. Contacts with staff at all levels are for the purpose of providing facilities management support.
EXTERNAL
Contacts with contractors and vendors to coordinate maintenance and cleaning services. Maintaining effective working relationships with these contacts is essential.
TRAINING AND BRIEFING STAFF
Provides guidance to IADC staff members on facilities management procedures and protocols.
USE OF AUTOMATED OR MANUAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Supports the office official and working files. Uses MS Word to produce documents, PowerPoint for presentations, and official databases to maintain facilities-related information.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR RECRUITMENTEducation
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience
Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have English writing and speaking skills. Spanish or Portuguese writing and speaking skills are highly desired.

TRAVELLING
Additional travel may be required based on the needs of the College.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
· This position qualifies for US tax reimbursement for US and permanent residents. The salary for US and permanent residents is $57,889-$67,153 plus tax reimbursement, with a pensionable salary of $73,053-$85,716.
· The IADB offers Health and Life Insurance, a pension plan, two weeks of paid vacation, and ten days of sick leave.
· This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.
