Alarm Monitor Dispatch Officer
Typical Duties
- Function as a dispatcher in a security or law enforcement environment.
- Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports.
- Operate a digital CCTV system.
- Operate fire alarm system for program monitoring.
- Operate an access control program such as C-Cure 9000.
- Capture and record video MPEG or JPEG for CD burning or e-mailing attachments.
- Be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
- Must pass a physical fitness test.
- Speak, read, and write English.
- Each Alarm Monitor Dispatch Operator must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of experience.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows-based programs such as Excel, Word, and Access-based programs.
