The duties and responsibilities for this position dictate the safety and efficiency of everyone around them. The position requires that the ideal candidate is able to remain focused and diligent in performing the tasks correctly and with care to keep everything running smoothly.
The successful candidate must have a variety of skills and qualifications. Both technical and soft skills are needed.
1st Shift Hours for the Machine Operator are Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:15 pm. 2nd Shift Hours are Monday through Thursday from 2:00pm to 12:15am.
Rate of Pay for 1st shift Machine Operator is $21.00 per hour. Rate of Pay for 2nd Shift is $23.00 per hour.
Actual compensation offered will vary based on factors including applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and comparison with associates in similar roles.

Essential Functions for the Machine Operator Include:
- Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use.
- Maintaining equipment and machinery so they can operate safely.
- May train and/or overseeing other employees on specialty machines.
- Must understand and retain all operating procedures for their machines.
- Propose improvements to the process or machines as needed.
- Report safety hazards within the work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications for the Machine Operator Include:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience performing similar functions.
- Great communication for working with others on the job.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot potential issues.
- Ability to lead a team and train other employees, as needed.
- Resourcefulness in learning new manuals and processes.
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to understand mechanics and technical tasks.
- Ability to identify issues or problems in operations or maintenance.
