Production Operator

HIRING NOW for a Production Operator! DIRECT HIRE!

Starting Hourly Rate of Pay for the Production Operator is $21.50 per hour.

Hours for the Production Operator are Tuesday through Friday from 5:00am to 3:00pm.

Essential Functions for the Production Operator Include:

• Operate production machines while maintaining a safe work environment and meeting all production and quality standards.
• Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
• Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
• Complete all necessary paperwork including, but not limited to, runtime and production output.
• Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.

Minimum Required Qualifications for the Production Operator Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment needed with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of machine operating procedures.
• Follow all quality procedures and perform all required quality checks.
• Follow all department and machine safety rules and procedures.
• Physical stamina, agility and strength is required.
