We are seeking an energetic and passionate Guest Experience Supervisor (part-time). As a supervisor, you will play a vital role in creating a unique and unforgettable journey for our visitors. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every guest has an exceptional and immersive experience throughout their visit. You will lead a team of guest experience associates, “Guardians”, oversee daily operations, and collaborate with various departments to deliver an unparalleled immersive experience.
Leadership & Guest Experience
- Welcome and engage guests with enthusiasm, ensuring each visitor feels immersed in the intergalactic narrative of INTER.
- Manage and mentor the Guardian team to ensure they’re delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure all team members possess in-depth knowledge of the scripts, and the interactive elements in each zone throughout the experience.
- Monitor the day-to-day operations of the guest experience department.
- Schedule staff, manage break times, and coordinate activities to maintain an efficient and seamless flow of visitors.
- When necessary, assume the role of a Guardian and serve in the Guest Experience capacity.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with tact, professionalism and empathy.
- Resolve issues promptly, striving to turn any negative experiences into positive ones.
- Maintain composure, and seek assistance from the Director of Operations when necessary.
- Implement strategies for crowd control during peak times to maintain a comfortable and enjoyable environment for all visitors.
- Monitor and adjust visitor flow to prevent congestion and ensure a safe and compliant environment.
- Ensure that the experience is accessible and inclusive to all visitors, including those with disabilities or special requirements.
- Offer appropriate accommodations and assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with security personnel to maintain a safe environment for guests.
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and act swiftly in any critical situations.
- Regularly inspect the experience for any damage or malfunction.
- Coordinate with the tech and facilities teams to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the experience.\
- Ensure the visual standards and cleanliness of the space are maintained throughout
- 1 years of leadership experience in tourism and attractions or a related field.
- Proven experience in a guest service or hospitality role, with a passion for the tourism and attractions industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, and the ability to motivate.
- Experience leading a team of artists and creatives that are required to memorize scripts, and willfully interact and engage with guests to enhance their experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse groups of visitors and team members.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
- Hourly Rate: $25-$28 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
