Position : Human Resources Manager Job Type : Full-time Location : Hybrid (Virginia Beach / Remote) Summary INTER-OP is seeking a Director of Human Resources to provide management and direction of corporate Human Resources functions. Responsibilities will include benefits management, recruiting, employee relations, performance management and compliance with employment laws. This role will be based in Virginia Beach, VA with flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities : Benefits : Planning and managing employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement and vacation plans Compliance : Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, such as EEOC, FLSA, and FMLA Policies : Developing, revising, and recommending policies and procedures for employment and personnel Recruiting : Overseeing the recruitment process to include writing job postings and assisting with the vetting and screening of candidates. Discipline : Managing Progressive disciplinary process Employee support : Supporting employees with issues and questions related to benefits to include : health insurance, 401K plan, vacation, sick leave etc… Employee recognition : Developing and implementing employee recognition programs, awards, and events. Ability to build team morale and promote corporate culture. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business management or a related field. 10 years of experience in Human Resources. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM CP). Experience working with ADP Workforce Now HRIS system. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
