Summary
INTER-OP is currently seeking a Program Manager to provide support to the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Program Executive Office (PEO) Medical Systems (MS) / Chief Information Officer (CIO) J-6 providing access to systems and office automation tools, including hardware, software, and network communications. The PEO MS/J-6 plays a vital role in meeting the DHA mission by acting as the technical manager for the healthcare communication infrastructure within which critical healthcare information is passed and providing an advanced and robust IT environment for a wide variety of business areas and processes responsible for the administration of the MHS healthcare program.
Responsibilities
- Managing and directing activities of a large multi-disciplinary IT support groups.
- Developing complex Information Technology program plans to address needs and requirements, investigating and resolving problems, interfacing with other functional support groups and outside personnel, preparing capital and operating requests, managing Subcontractors’ staff, and executing program plans.
- Organizing and directing work and directing personnel and multidiscipline teams in order to achieve objectives.
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems associated with task order requirements.
- Ability to plan and lead major information technology assignments and projects. Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a programmatic expert across multiple project assignments.
Qualifications / Experience
- Master’s degree and/or equivalency and ten (10) years of progressive management experience
- Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP)
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification
- 12 months experience in utilizing SharePoint as a Project Management Information System (PMIS) or similar system to monitor and track project status.
- Experience managing and directing activities of a large multi-disciplinary IT support groups. Experience developing and leading complex Information Technology program plans to address needs and requirements, investigating, and resolving problems.
