About us—-
Inter-Rail Transport is sub-contracted by all major railroads for the safe handling of new automobiles from rail cars. We offer weekly pay, 9 paid holidays, Paid Vacation Time, 401k and Roth retirement, Medical, Dental and Supplemental life insurance. As an unloader you can expect to work outdoors in all weather conditions. This position requires personnel to be able to work in/on rail cars and other rail road equipment. Must be able to climb rail car ladder to varying heights and the ability to work in confined spaces. This job requires frequent bending and lifting at times.
This is an excellent job for people looking to learn railroad processes, gain knowledge of railroad and automotive industry. We also have opportunities to travel and operate at multiple locations across the United States. We also offer management training as most of our management team started out as unloaders.
This is a great job for people, entry level or experienced We train from the ground up from unloader to management.
Employment Requirements
-must have valid drivers license
-pass background check
-provide a copy of MVR / Driving record with no DUIs in last 7 years or 3 moving violations in last 3 years.
-Pass a urine drug screen
Pay starts at $20 HR with annual raises
