Job Title: QA Automation Tester No C2C
Location: Henderson, NV (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Employment Type: Contract - No C2C
Job Summary:
We are seeking a QA Automation Tester with hands-on experience in automation frameworks
and strong knowledge of Java and Selenium to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for writing and maintaining test scripts, managing virtual machines for script
execution, querying data for validation, and ensuring software quality across financial
operations. Prior experience in financial services, TSYS systems, and account conditioning is
highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Manage and configure virtual machines (VMs) used for running test automation suites.
• Perform backend validation using SQL queries, especially for accounts with varying
statuses.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to
understand requirements and create effective test cases.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to identify, report, and track defects.
• Conduct account conditioning in TSYS and support operations related to TSYS
processing.
• Provide input into automation framework improvements and suggest best practices.
• Maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and results.
• Demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude and show strong self-initiative in tackling
tasks.
• Work onsite at our Henderson office 3 times a week as part of a hybrid work model.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience in automated testing using Java and Selenium.
• Experience managing or configuring VM environments for automation execution.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and the SDLC.
• Experience in financial domains and familiarity with TSYS operations and account
conditioning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• A self-starter with a team-first mindset and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with TestNG, Maven, or Jenkins for CI/CD integration.• Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with Defect Management Tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Git for version control.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in scrum teams.
