We’re hiring an electrically inclined Maintenance Tech to support a state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility in Linden, NJ. This is a contract-to-hire role — full-time conversion is on the table for candidates who show initiative, strong work ethic, and solid troubleshooting skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support daily equipment maintenance across packaging and production lines
- Troubleshoot electrical issues (PLCs, sensors, motors, circuits, relays)
- Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, ovens, and industrial equipment
- Assist with upgrades, repairs, and documentation
- Work closely with senior techs to gain experience in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–4 years of industrial maintenance experience (food or manufacturing preferred)
- Comfortable with 120V–480V systems and control circuits
- Basic understanding of PLC troubleshooting and mechanical repair
- Reliable, hardworking, and motivated to earn a permanent role
