Job Title : Facility Utility Helper
Location : Vineland NJ
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Facility Utility Helper to join our team at a dynamic food manufacturing facility in Vineland NJ. This role is essential in maintaining and improving our facilitys infrastructure and production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a wellrounded skill set in mechanical electrical plumbing and carpentry tasks along with a willingness to learn and support various maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems including electrical mechanical and plumbing.
Assist in the maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Conduct basic carpentry tasks for facility upkeep and minor construction projects.
Support welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor facility issues in a timely manner.
Assist with preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment and facility infrastructure.
Follow safety protocols and food manufacturing standards at all times.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to address facilityrelated needs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is a plus.
Basic knowledge of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
Experience with carpentry and welding is highly desirable.
Previous experience in machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments including cold storage.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Certification in trade skills (e.g. HVAC welding or electrical work) is an advantage but not required.
Familiarity with food manufacturing standards and practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams or blueprints.
