Job Title: Facility Utility Helper

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Facility Utility Helper to join our team at a dynamic food manufacturing facility in Vineland, NJ. This role is essential in maintaining and improving our facility’s infrastructure and production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded skill set in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, along with a willingness to learn and support various maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.

• Assist in the maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

• Conduct basic carpentry tasks for facility upkeep and minor construction projects.

• Support welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor facility issues in a timely manner.

• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment and facility infrastructure.

• Follow safety protocols and food manufacturing standards at all times.

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to address facility-related needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Experience with carpentry and welding is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments, including cold storage.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
