Location: Linden NJ
Shift: Overnight (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Job Overview:
InterAction24 is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to serve as a Firewatch for our facility during the overnight shift. This role is responsible for walking the facility, checking for potential fire hazards, leaks, and ensuring overall safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of the facility to monitor for fire risks, leaks, or safety concerns.
- Report any hazards, unusual activity, or maintenance issues immediately.
- Ensure fire safety protocols are being followed throughout the facility.
- Maintain clear documentation of inspections and findings.
- Assist in basic facility security checks as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in security, firewatch, or safety roles is a plus.
- Ability to walk for extended periods and remain alert throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to report issues accurately.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
