QA Associate (3-Month Contract-to-Hire)
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Occasional overtime on Saturdays
Job Overview:
We are seeking a QA Associate to join our team on a 3-month contract-to-hire basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your skills and grow within the company. The starting pay for the contract period is $19–$21/hour, with potential for hire upon successful completion of the contract.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Specialist with Gold Standard and table setup.
- Conduct continuous audits of tables (each table at least once per hour).
- Audit bins of finished products regularly.
- Document all audits using the Quality Tool Suite.
- Notify the Specialist and Quality Auditor of any issues identified during audits.
- Attend monthly refresher training with the Quality team.
- Participate in startup communications with the Quality team.
- Audit pack lines regularly (at least twice per hour).
- Perform continuous audits of finished boxes (at least three boxes per hour).
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 1–2 years in a food production or warehouse environment preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends if needed.
- Physical ability to:
- Lift up to 49 pounds repetitively (with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Handle exposure to cold/freezing environments (coolers, freezers, etc.).
- Stand/walk for 10–12 hours (with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Push, pull, squat, bend, and reach frequently (with or without reasonable accommodation).
