Description
Interactive College of Technology (ICT), an accredited private College, has an immediate opening for Instructors in our HVAC department at our Chamblee campus.
ICT has been in operation for more than forty years and has a complete and compressive HVAC program that trains individuals to work in both the residential and commercial fields. Students develop skills in basic electricity, schematics, gas furnace and heat pump installation and repair, Manual D and J, as well as passing the EPA and NATE certifications.
The college is seeking HVAC instructors who have experience in the field, a passion for teaching, and want to give back to the industry. Full-time and part-time positions are available in both the day and evening.
Qualifications
· 3 to 5 years in-field experience
· Associate Degree is a plus
· A passion for helping others learn the HVAC industry
· EPA and NATE certifications, or the desire to earn the certifications
· Previous teaching experience is a plus
Typical job duties include providing classroom and laboratory instruction, mentoring of students to the requirements of the industry, grading student work, and ensuring students learn the skills required to be successful in the field.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Schedule:
· Full-time class offerings are Monday through Thursday.
· Part-time class offerings are two days a week.
Education: Associate Degree is strongly encouraged
