Background :
This position supports the discovery, implementation, and sustainment of a ServiceNow suite for a dedicated Department of Defense (DoD) community with significant leadership visibility. The Implementer / Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying ServiceNow solutions, with a specific focus on Discovery activities and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) creation and optimization. This role requires technical expertise in ServiceNow development, Discovery, and CMDB architecture to ensure the platform supports operational needs and DoD compliance requirements.
Responsibilities :
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline) or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Implementer, with a strong focus on CMDB and Discovery
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
Strong understanding of ServiceNow Discovery architecture, including MID Server configuration, CI identification rules, and probes / sensors
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement complex ServiceNow solutions
Active Security clearance required; eligibility for higher-level clearance is a plus
