Business Unit Support AnalystPosition Overview : In this role, you will report to the Regional Vice President of our Southeastern Business Unit and support the business unit's new business capture process and contract execution team efforts as they pertain to organic growth and coordination efforts within the business unit and corporate systems.Key Responsibilities : Business Unit Management Support : Assist and support the business unit team with managing all aspects the business unit to include : Schedule and information management, business unit data analysis such as staffing, financials, profit & loss (P&L) tracking, organic growth tracking, identifying business opportunities.Coordinating input from various teammates and stakeholders, and helping support the shaping of our competitive positioning with our current clients and new business endeavors.Assist in coordination across internal teams (HR, engineering, operations, finance) to ensure the business unit is synchronized internally and externally as we deliver a unified, strategic message to our team, teammates and customers.Maintain organized business unit and capture documentation, including business unit specific financials, budget tracking, approvals, opportunity trackers, capture plans, and new business pipelines.Business Unit Team Support : Coordinate the business unit's team leaders execution needs with the business unit's staff, program analysts, operations and corporate systems. Coordinate across the business unit's program, project and subject matter expert staff in gathering, drafting and editing proposal narratives, capability statements, and product / service descriptions.Transform technical and operational concepts into concise, reader-friendly documents. Track business unit team goals and execution information to support our team's contract execution and ratings goals. Coordinate team meetings, schedules and team events.Qualifications : Education & Experience : Practical and relevant work experience desired. We value diverse backgrounds and will consider experience from other business industries such as commercial where the candidate has held lead / supervisor positions with sales, marketing, customer service, staff planning, or other business-related roles. Formal degree not required. Post high school coursework a plus.Demonstrated ability to organize data, interpret customer needs, and translate insights into actionable strategies is highly desirable.Previous exposure to and experience with business management tools and processes is a plus.Core Skills : Strong communication skills-both written and verbal-with an eye for detail.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); willingness to learn other documentation and data analysis tools.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Analytical mindset : comfortable interpreting data, identifying trends, and proposing improvements.Soft Skills : Collaborative spirit : able to engage with team members across departments.Adaptability : willingness to learn new processes, methodologies, and industry terminology.Accountability : strong work ethic and reliability in meeting commitments.Additional Requirements : Must be a U.S. Citizen. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required is desirable.Occasional travel to industry events, client sites or regional offices possible but not required (10%).
