Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals, market trends, and customer needs to drive growth in Equipment, Parts & Supplies, or Light Commercial HVAC markets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets through coaching, training, and professional development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners, serving as the primary contact for strategic accounts and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage sales forecasts and performance tracking, providing regular reports and insights to senior management to adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and operations to align sales efforts, develop promotional materials, and enhance customer engagement.
- Optimize the sales process to improve efficiency, increase win rates, and shorten the sales cycle, leveraging CRM tools for tracking and analytics.
- Oversee the sales budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with business priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- 8-10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in leadership, preferably in Equipment, Parts & Supplies or Light Commercial HVAC.
- Industry knowledge of HVAC, Equipment, and Parts & Supplies, including market trends, products, and competitors.
- Proven leadership skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong analytical skills, using sales data, market trends, and CRM tools to drive performance and decision-making.
- Effective communicator and presenter, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experienced in budget management, sales forecasting, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
