Job Summary:
Interactive Resources - iR is seeking a skilled Packaging Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee quality assurance activities across production and laboratory environments. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and compliance requirements.
About the Role:
- Coordinate and oversee all quality assurance activities to ensure consistent product quality.
- Collaborate with the Plant/Operations Manager to manage quality-related communications with customers.
- Maintain performance and calibration of quality-related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure production activities comply with internal, customer, and regulatory packaging specifications.
- Conduct measurements, testing, and reporting on dimensional, functional, and visual attributes.
- Manage and preserve measurement database integrity.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 2-year degree (Associates) in a related field or equivalent.
- Experience with physical lab testing equipment such as calipers, scales, digital height gauges, compression force testing equipment, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SPC databases, and Word.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain strong organizational skills.
