We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Technical Engineering Manager. As a key member of our engineering team, you will provide technical expertise and leadership in civil engineering design and project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and ensuring project success.
- Develop grading and drainage designs, including driveways, building pads, and erosion & sediment control plans.
- Perform hydrology calculations and evaluate drainage features for permit approvals.
- Create civil design drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Engage with potential clients, discuss project needs, and draft professional service agreements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless design integration.
- Conduct on-site evaluations, inspections, and construction observations to verify compliance with approved plans.
- Serve as a primary contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, addressing technical inquiries and providing expertise.
- Perform site visits before and after grading design completion to assess existing conditions and confirm compliance.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher in Civil Engineering (required).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
