Our Company: InterAgency Inc. is a minority-owned DC-based small business specializing in permit management, environmental consulting, and other regulatory consulting services. Since 2011, InterAgency has led permitting efforts for some of the largest infrastructure projects in the DC Metro region.
Description: InterAgency, Inc. is looking for a talented individual to help support our client.
Responsibilities will include planning, production of design development and construction documents, construction administration, site meetings, and direct client interaction. Candidates must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage all aspects of a project.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of the project, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Use AutoCAD, Revit and other design software to create detailed architectural designs.
- Perform and/or supervise the design and drafting of production of design drawings.
- Supervise the work of team members and coordinate documents with clients.
- Work with principals and staff to collaborate on the design and production of documents.
- Prepares design and construction drawings.
- Completes architectural design projects on time and meets client quality expectations.
- Coordinates architectural drawings with drawings from other professional disciplines related to each project.
- Prepares, reviews, and approves submittals, correspondence, change orders, and shop drawings. Completes and maintains project files.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
- 10 years of professional experience in an architectural office.
· Client Account Management requires strong personal relationship skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials, details, and methods.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Employment Conditions:
· Type: Part-Time, non-exempt employment
· Location: Hybrid - Will work on-site at client location 1-2 days per week.
· Hours: regular business hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 PM (EST).
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
· Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Compensation and Benefits:
· Hourly Rate: $60-$80/hour, commensurate with experience.
· Eligible for retirement plan participation with 401(k) Safe Harbor employer match.
· Part-Time PTO eligible.
· Company provided equipment and software, as needed.
