Forklift Operator II - 10a-6p Tu-Sat (stand up reach forklift experience required)

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Forklift Operator II, you will be essential in ensuring efficient materials handling within our distribution center. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your role involves operating stand-up lifts and other heavy equipment to manage inventory and support shipping and receiving operations. Your core skills in forklift operation, combined with premium experience in warehouse management and mechanical knowledge, will contribute to a safe and productive work environment. Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English, along with computer literacy, will enhance communication and operational efficiency within our team. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED and two years' experience operating sit down and stand up reach forklifts.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Excellent skills to handle product in rack systems, preferable experienced in dynamic rack systems
• Excellent skills to drive stand-up reach forklifts
• Ability to work various shifts to meet the needs of the business

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Move freight, stock, or other materials and information storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors or other equipment.
• Performs physical counts of merchandise.
• Participates in the monthly and annual inventory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
