Qualifications:
High School Graduate- CPR Certified and First Aid preferred
- Demonstrate aptitude for fulfillment of assigned performance responsibilities
- Must be able to make sound judgments and interact well with staff, students and parents
- PA Highly Qualified Professional Status preferred (must complete if offered employment)
- All PA required clearances, a physical and TB test and all other required paperwork
Job Goal:
A Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides one-on-one support to a student, including assistance in the use of medical equipment, with activities of the daily school day and monitoring of health and behavior issues. A Personal Care Assistant may provide support to more than one student, but not at the same time.
