Business Development Specialist
Job Description
The Business Development Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the brand presence and marketing efforts for our mortgage advisors.
This individual will be responsible for customizing marketing templates (flyers, social media posts, slide decks for presentations), managing social media content across all platforms, facilitating video editing through 3
party vendors, and ensuring consistent and engaging communication across various platforms. The ideal candidate possesses a positive, proactive demeanor and a collaborative spirit.
This role is designed for a person who is a willing problem solver and creative thinker with a passion for personalized brand development.
Responsibilities
- Content Customization
- Customize marketing templates, including flyers, social media posts, newsletters, and blog posts, ensuring all content is on-brand and aligned with company messaging, as well as maintaining compliance.
- Social Media Management
- Manage and curate content for social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google and YouTube.
Schedule and post engaging content that drives brand awareness and engagement.
- Video Production
- Collaborate with mortgage advisors to manage the creation and third-party editing of videos for social media, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Client Communication
- Design and send personalized Thank You cards, manage client and partner gifting (closing, under contract, anniversary, etc.
enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team, mortgage advisors, and external vendors to coordinate marketing efforts and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Tech Systems Implementation
- Leverage existing Intercap Lending technology to implement and optimize marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- Team-oriented, problem solver.
- Training in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field is a bonus, but not required.
- Understanding of mortgage terms and concepts.
- Proficiency in Canva desired, but not required.
- Proficiency in ChatGPT or AI alternative.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
