InterCare is searching for a Seasonal Full-time Community Outreach RN to join our team with positions located in Allegan County, Ottawa County, Van Buren County, Kalamazoo County, Berrien County, and Cass County! At InterCare, you’ll find a rewarding and challenging work environment and competitive compensation.
Work Schedule:
Temporary Position: Seasons typically ends 10.15.2025 with the opportunity to go to PRN effective 11.01.2025. Hours are 20 hours per week, Sunday - Saturday; typically 4:30pm-10:00pm.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in the state of Michigan.
- BCLS Certification.
- Proficient with Excel.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
- Extensive travel using reliable personal vehicle.
- Displays compassionate, ethical, and professional demeanor.

Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide nursing assessments according to outreach nursing guidelines.
- Perform basic procedures at migrant farm worker camps.
- Inform patient of results immediately after screening.
- Refer to InterCare clinics for medical treatment if necessary and accurately documents encounters.
- Complete follow-up requests from health provider on a timely basis.
- Communicate frequently with clinic serving as triage support.
- Educate patients on the importance of preventative healthcare, environmental exposure to pesticides, immunization status, and prenatal care status of pregnant women.
- Council patients on usage of medical equipment.
- Educate migrant community to adopt healthy behaviors.
- Distribute health brochures or other health education information to targeted community.
- Participate in special events such as community health fairs and special clinic events.
- Adhere to all regulatory body, infection control, and organizational standards.
