- We are currently seeking a Receptionist to provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: The selected candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:
- Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments.
- Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
- Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment calendars for
- File and maintain records.
- Receive payment and record receipts for services.
- Perform administrative support tasks, such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, or photocopying, faxing, filing, collating and data entry.
- Transmit information or documents to employees and other stakeholders by, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
- Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries. Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, collating, typing of documents, and data entry.
- Assists with meeting set up/planning to include conference room reservation, equipment availability, food ordering, etc.
- Delivers appropriate messages to departments and/or follows up with requested information as requested.
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies and corporate office employee break room supplies.
