We are currently seeking a Foster Family Trainer to track, train, evaluate, and approve treatment foster parents. The will complete evaluations, background checks, references, interviews, home studies, and screenings of potential foster families to ensure world class foster care environments for Intercept Health clients.
Education and Experience Required:
A baccalaureate degree in any field plus TWO years of experience in providing casework services to children and families. Experience in the field of foster care or experience in working with behavioral programs, counseling, and/or skills training preferred. A minimum of one year of program administration is highly desirable. Experience in marketing, business development, or public relations, with an emphasis on developing new territories, target markets, and/or customer bases highly preferred. OR
A baccalaureate degree in social work or a field related to social work including, but not limited to sociology, psychology, special education, or counseling and ONE year of experience in providing casework services to children and families; OR
A doctorate or master's degree in a field related to social work such as, but not limited to, sociology, psychology, special education, or counseling with at least ONE year of experience providing casework services to children and families.
