What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Technician position at InterCon Construction?
The Survey Technician position is responsible for assisting surveyor and / or designers to help identify property lines, right-of-way lines, easement boundaries, etc. for the design and / or construction of utilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collecting boundary field evidence of monuments, topography, easements, and utility locates.
- Using GPS equipment to take accurate and detailed field notes.
- Utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, for drafting, data processing, and importing.
- Ability to work in field or office settings in variable amounts of time depending on project requirements.
- Coordinate with InterCon Designers on survey needs and schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
