Job Purpose

The Research and Analytics Intern will help drive exchange trading product evolution, identify key market trends, devise advanced analytics, and unlock the next big opportunities for the business and the industry. In this role you will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders and apply your data science skills to real-world trading and analytics applications.
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced quantitative methods to analyze and evaluate industry-wide trading data
- Use the latest in data science and machine learning to research and drive product development and enhancement
- Leverage new technologies to build data science models to extract insights from trading data, unlocking new opportunities for the business
- Contribute individually or as a team member to support functional areas, analyze business processes, and achieve assigned by an experienced manager
- Engage with business partners and contribute to projects that drive significant value
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge and Experience
- Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and be at least advancing to their junior year of study, pursuing a degree in finance, computer science, statistics, physics, engineering, or related field
- Effective computer skills, with a solid working knowledge of MS Office
- Experience using programming languages (Python, SQL) and data visualization tools (Tableau) a plus
- Ability to work with data from large data sources
- Machine Learning / AI courses or focus areas a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Internship Program Schedule
Internships start on either May 12, 2025, or June 9, 2025, and run until August 1, 2025. Interns should be available to work full-time, 5 days a week, at our New York (11 Wall Street) office.
Hourly Pay Rate for New York Candidates
The expected hourly rate for this role is $30 per hour.
