What You'll Be Doing
- Manning the PBX switchboard on assigned shift, ensuring all incoming calls are answered within three rings.
- Using the guest/team member's name if known at all times, providing personalized service and a touch of home away from home.
- Engaging in friendly, professional conversation, being the first voice our guests hear, setting the tone for their stay.
- Accurately setting wake-up calls, ensuring our guests start their days on time.
- Serving as the information source for all hotel matters, making you the go-to person for our guests.
- Mastering multitasking, juggling multiple activities simultaneously with grace and poise.
- Relaying accurate information to callers, directing them to the appropriate extension.
- Communicating with various departments and staff via property radio system.
- Responding to inquiries or complaints, ensuring all our guests feel heard and valued.
- Staying updated on property, administrative, amenity, and event information.
- Relaying actions to be taken during emergencies, ensuring safety at all times.
Your Background
All you need is a high school diploma or GED and a pleasant phone voice coupled with a hospitable personality. Experience with a multi-phone line system and previous hotel experience would be a plus, but is not mandatory. You'll also enjoy the freedom of not requiring airport badging.
