The Senior Chemist will be responsible for all technical activities related to new/existing formulation, innovation, and 1st production scale-up of new formulations in Congers, NY.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new formulation strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize innovative projects.
- Leverage expertise in cosmetic formulation, color perception, raw material knowledge, regulatory knowledge, GLPs, GMPs, and FDA guidelines to ensure compliance and quality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and external partners.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and successful outcomes.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are high-quality.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to SOPs and company policies.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Participate in training and professional development programs to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
