Position Summary
The Label Room Clerk is responsible for managing and distributing product labels in a timely and accurate manner at our West Nyack, NY facility. This role ensures that all labelling materials meet regulatory and company standards and are properly organized and tracked. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions
- Print, sort, and distribute product labels according to production schedules.
- Verify label accuracy, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain inventory of labels, tracking stock levels and reordering as needed.
- Organize and file label documentation for easy retrieval.
- Work closely with production, quality assurance, and packaging teams to ensure timely label availability.
- Inspect labels for defects and report any inconsistencies.
- Operate label printing equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
- Follow safety and compliance protocols related to label handling and storage.
- Assist with audits and regulatory inspections as needed.
- Perform other administrative or clerical duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with printing software.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
