Loading Supervisor
11am – 8pm (Monday – Thursday)
11am – 8pm Sunday
We are currently seeking a Loading Supervisor for our warehouse team. Qualified candidates for this role are seeking to join a growing and dynamic organization with a main focus in Shipping and Warehouse Operations. As the Loading Supervisor you will be given the challenging and rewarding opportunity to develop the overall quality and performance of your area.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Coordinates and supervises the activities associated with loading of outgoing trailer shipments to the dealers in accordance with established procedures. Is present before shift to organize daily activities in preparation for associate’s arrival. Organizes remainder of shift prior to leaving for the day (Shift runs 11am -10pm).
a) Monitors productivity and quality for loading associates. Provides feedback to associates.
b) Ensures supplies needed to load trucks are present and when not acts to correct. Reports occurrences.
c) Determines loading priority based on schedules.
d) Logs loading information such as; trailer #, dock door, loaders and scanners. Reports weekly
e) Repairs and or replaces damaged items scheduled for shipment according to procedures.
f) Responsible for the Pre-check of staged merchandise / line inspection. Monitors and take corrective action as required.
g) Performs serial swaps on damaged product.
h) Researches and responds to customer issues as it relates to short shipment, overages, damages and takes corrective action to prevent occurrence of the same issue / problem.
i) Trains / retrains associates as necessary as it relates to material handling. Cross trains employees to ensure there is enough manpower to cover seasonal needs and absenteeism.
j) Provides feedback to temporary agencies regarding performance of their placements.
k) Holds weekly team meeting to discuss quality, safety and productivity information.
l) Performs daily department walk throughs. Makes notes and corrects issues as they arise.
m) Corrects, Logs and reports serial # issues.
n) Enforces operation procedures and policies related to, loading activities
o) Addresses routine employee questions / concerns; resolves problems and disputes in a timely manner.
p) When need occurs, scans product being loaded into trucks.
q) Enforces and complies with all company safety rules and regulations.
r) Responds to emails periodically through out the day.
s) Does the right thing even when no one is looking.

· Minimum 3 years warehousing and supervisory experience required
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and ERP applications
