Job Description

The Shore Excursion Supervisor for NY / NJ area (part-time) position which requires the planning, coordination, and delivery of the company's shore excursion program in a professional and guest centric manner. Responsible to assist in improving tour timing efficiency and therefore profitability through detailed planning strategies. Should represent the company in the local community in a professional manner.

Familiar with the respective port(s) and the tour program delivered by Intercruises, ensuring the administrative procedures are followed. Able to maintain key contacts with all vendors and effectively communicate planning information with those vendors. Effectively supervise a team of pier staff and guides to ensure the delivery of exceptional shore excursion services. Have a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, in particular Excel, able to work independently and highly organized.

Working 50% home base office and at the pier the day of the ship call.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation to travel to all Cruise Terminals in the NY / NJ area (includes Bayonne, Brooklyn and Manhattan)
• Effective communication in both oral and written
• Proactive with attention to details
• Work independently with minimum supervision and provide the expected results
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines
• Strong computer skills to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule which includes weekdays, weekends and holidays
• Must be customer focused and results oriented, with flexible approach to meet the demands of the business.

Pay Range : $25 per hour
